Rude staff took me 5 people to go through to get someone nice who actually helped but this place is a scam!!!

I called to cancel because it offered no real information outside of the persons name and dob. I have been on the phone for over 30 minutes and never got through

They charge you for 1 product and then you get another charge for the same amount of money for another product you had no idea about and you can not access any information. They said their information is from a third party.

Really this is a big fat scam and they should be charged and pulled from the internet. DO NOT USE IT EVER. They charge you $43.98 then the other charges $43.98. They failed to tell you that.

I stopped payment for both and told them to never try and charge my account again. I had to wait to be able to cancel this till they charged by account.

Free records? NO!!!--it's a lie.

I went through the long long process required, was told they found LOTS of results, paid the $1 for access, and there was nothing but the person's name and address....WHICH I ALREADY KNEW!!! This happened on every advertised "free" sites I tried. Misleading-to-false advertisements and I want my dollar-for-nothing back!is that how they make their profit?

A dollar at a time from unsuspecting users? Reeks of SCAM!

Horrible! I used this service to just get the $1.00 report.

I immediately called the next day after reading the fine print that I had five days to call and cancel or my account would be charged $43.00. I cancelled my membership and they assured me nothing more needed to be done. Well five days later my account was charged $43. I called them back informing them what happened and the lady told me there was no record of me canceling it and refused to refund me my money.

Now I have to file a dispute with my bank... what a hassle!

Im trying to contact them to stop this $43 loss at the moment. I was attacked 3 months ago, and they have no criminal record for my attacker.

Really?!

And there are multiple previous convictions they should've found, but no worries! Someone with a similar name was arrested in 1984 who gives a ****

Golookup, advertises its services as free. After you put in all your info and they produce your report.

They want your credit card information. They want to charge you for the information. I will be reporting them to the BBB. This is false advertising.Then if you do not cancel your subscription, which is advertised as free, they charge you a lot more money.

These guys are an absolute joke After sitting through various down loading they want to charge you. Are you freaking kidding me? What part of advertising for a free check do they not understand.

Thos company ate complete and total scammers. Rambling on because of the minimum 100 words, so i repeated myself lots.

I signed up for golookup because they "only charge $1.00"..a few days later a $46 charge was taken from my account and then another charge the next month. I had to call and get my money refunded and it was a disaster..this is a SCAM SCAM SCAM.

I used this company and it really didn't offer a lot of information at all for the person I looked up. No phone numbers, or emails or anything, which are pretty basic and I've seen others pull at least that information on the person.

I paid the dollar and gave a call right after doing the search, they tried to get me to stay for the remaining 6 days but I just told them to cancel the account. I feel the company is legit, but you'll know within 6 days if I return and give a scathing review, otherwise there is likely no issue.

As a side note the company is a bit shady in this regard as they do not say anything about having a monthly subscription on their page when you pay the dollar and they also claim to be 'free' which obviously, if you are charging people a dollar than you are far from free.

I used this website one time in April 2016; despite their advertising a "free" lookup, I had to pay $1 for the report. If that was the end of it, I wouldn't be complaining.

Subsequent to my $1 transaction (by credit card) Lookup has continued to bill my CC a monthly fee of $39.95. I never indicated to them that I wanted to subscribe to their service!

Furthermore, you can't use their web site as a launching site to talk to them about this error. My only recourse was to cancel my CC!

So, I'm very unhappy with this company. Come out of the shadows and conduct business properly!

I looked up 1 person and the info I got what was I already knew. They charged me a $1.00 and then a few days later charged me $39.95 which caused me also to have an overdraft.

I haven't called yet to try and get my money back but I will. I decided to read the reviews first, which I should have done in the first place. I should have learned from my other experiences. Wasn't it suppose to be a free month with the $1?

It's been about 4 days when they charged me. So I will call and get my money back!!

I never signed up for this company. They starting charging my card and I have told them I never signed up.

The customer service person just kept on repeating the same thing over and over again. So I kept on repeating over and over again refund my money and I want to speak to her supervisor... and then I got nasty. Finally I got them to refund some of my money.

Three calls later and I am suppose to receive back everything, except for $1.00 which they are holding as ransom. Awful people to work with.

If you see their name and considering using them, go to another website.

Charged my card with no reason.

This is NOT what it advertises to be. To test the accuracy, i put in many friends phone numbers.

The infirmation was accurate maybe 25% of the time. I wouldnt waste my money.
